AWS Transform for Migrations

Learning Objectives:

• Configure and enable AWS Transform
• Configure an AWS Transform workspace for VMware
• Assess VMware workloads for migration
• Create and execute transformation plans
• Validate migrated resources

Target audience:

Developers, architects, and cloud engineers who intend to apply AWS Transform transformation capabilities in real-life situations to accelerate migration and modernization goals.

Prerequisites:

• Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) and Networking
• AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
• VMware environments (RVTools)

This workshop is level 300. Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware RVTools structure, data ingestion, network migration and wave plan leveraging AWS Application Migration Service is required.
